Daima was the 28th Haniwa Phantom in the Kotetsu Jeeg Anime which was the featured Monster of the week in Ep.25 of the series. It resemble a grim reaper, wearing a Red Cape and holding a scythe adorn with spikes and a horn skull; Daima had a Dark Gray/Red/Green color scheme over the body with empty purple eye sockets; had two red tails on the side of his skull and a row of spikes on top of its head. Daima could had magical abilities, as well fight with its scythe and may had been the Phantom that came closest to killing Jeeg, destroying its body to the point Jeeg requested for a new one mid battle.
As Hiroshi and Chibi competed against Don and Pancho in a race, Daima appears as a tornado and attacks them, destroying their car, with Chibi and Hiroshi been ejected; Daima throws its cape onto Hiroshi, which tangles him and uses its magical powers, spinning Hiroshi before releasing him, then the Phantom retreating. For the rest of the episode, Hiroshi (now with his skin and eyes of different colors) refuses to leave his room to the concern of many, convulsing and suffering from headaches and hallucinations of his past battles, his father, the Bell and Himika – with the Queen using her mind control powers over him. Kikue, horrified of her son's current state, takes him to the Build Base to have him check.
As he's been inspected, Kikue relives the time when a younger Hiroshi gave her a topspin he crafted for her as a birthday gift, she is then inform his nervous system has been damage and an operation is needed. Before that could happen though, Hiroshi, now under Himika's full control, attacks the staff demanding the location of the Jamatai Bell and runs off. Michi informs Dairi that the electroencephalogram found odd readings, which the Professor concludes is telepathy and Himika likely is behind this. As Kikue has a talk with Computer Father, Hiroshi breaks in, attacking both the Computer and his mother, Himika's influence getting stronger, but causing great strain to her. As the others try to restrain him, the topspin falls and begins to spin; watching this causes a reaction that breaks the connection. Kikue uses it and causes Hiroshi to break free, with Himika losing due to the strain of the mental connection. Hiroshi is taken to the operation, to fix his nerve system and later awakens at the nursing facility wondering what had happened, when Daima reemerges to launch its attack on the base, Michi and Hiroshi leaving to take on the Phantom.
(Quite honestly, dunno how the whole thing with the Topspin works, but the point here is our Boy is cured after getting his brain properly rewired, and that all is that matters, Lads!)
On its way, Daima confronts and disposes of the MechaDon2; Hiroshi then arrives and transform into Jeeg to take on Daima, but the latter proves to be more faster than the hero anticipated, dismembering the entire robot body in the process: cutting the left arm, stealing its lower section with its magical cape, then using it as a shield when Jeeg fired its Spin Storm, and destroying the torso. Michi fires another set of body parts to rebuild and this time Jeeg uses its Magnetic Powers to capture the Monster. Jeeg then kicks Daima into the air and fires multiple Knuckle Bombers, finally destroying the Phantom for good.
