From her 2nd computer colored drawing to one I released today.
Brief History Lesson on Hanna's Confusing Origins.
Having a female tiger character dates back to the very beginnings of my anthro art, a tiger was either the first or second anthro I ever drew in 2015 (look around in my scraps for "First Paper" and you'll see it). Anyways around this time I was also thinking about the possibility of creating some sort of comic using these new characters that I had scrawled out on a paper so I gave the tiger the name 'Kate'. Tiger Kate never actually made it to a comic page she was instead replaced with a cat/fox hybrid also named Kate. This Kate would later become Sara... Fastforward a bit and a few scrapped comic ideas later and Tiger Kate was brushed to the sidelines not to be heard of. Eventually I did resurrect the tiger idea (perhaps after my fears of TK copying had dropped a bit) on a page of random possible new character designs again given the resurrected again for some random sketches and eventually digitally colored drawings. In fact the above drawing she was Still named Kate.
Hannah was a name I came up for a 1-off sketch of an undefined species brown/tan female I sketch some point early 2016 named after a girl I had a crush on. I can't remember exactly when or why I transferred the name Hanna (minus the ending H) to the tiger girl design but I think it was either late 2016 or early 2017. I cant remember exactly when I gave her the last name 'Katara' but its based on the character Avatar the Last Airbender.
Kate would get resurrected to appropriately name a Fox/Tiger hybrid in 2020
I guess this is a big confusing mess of names and how they sometimes get recycled alot when characters are getting developed.
Kate was Kate, then Kate was Sara, Sara became Sara, then Kate was Hanna or something, all because originally I was going to have a tiger as a main character until Sara took over.

How am I supposed to tell them apart?
I have a .txt file that comes up automatically when I boot the computer (actually, all of my computers have a Log.txt file -- I should sync them up). One of the many things I keep on it is a list of characters and a brief description of who or what they are. For example:The Colony (Colony Woolens)
Coober: Dog, millwright & carpenter
Darbo: Gray Wolf, electrician
Falcor: Cougar, mechanic, machinist & steelworker
Guillim: Stoat, steamfitter & HVAC
Janna: Fallow Deer or Dama Doe, researcher
Larna: Gray Wolf, laborer
When I'm working on the story, I can check where I am and who is in the cast. Because when you get to my, memory isn't what it was...

Sorry, I'm up to my L5 in junk I'm doing (including trying to restart The White Lady story). Mow it looks like I'm going to be trying to operate Kjartan Arnórsson 's website (fallow for almost 5 years). I want to start downloading the chapters, but time is short for so many things, lately (and I'm supposed to be retired).
Well, I'll tell you what the jokes are then. They're plays on names. In the story, I give the anthro characters family names that reflect their feral ancestry. Wanda Anaguma is a badger (Anaguma is badger in Japanese.), Amanda Fuchs is a fox (Fuchs is fox in German.), Bertha Karhu is a polar/grizzly bear (Karhu is Finnish for bear.), etc. The two jokes are two new characters I introduce in this chapter. Raul Lobo-Rojo and Italo Levriero. Raul is a Mexican red wolf. Raul is another Spanish word for wolf. So, his name translates into Wolf Red-Wolf. Italo Levriero is an Italian Greyhound. Levriero is Italian for Greyhound and Italo is Italian for Italian so, his name is Italian for Italian Greyhound.
The place names and some of the characters in my 'Herriman Cycle' of stories (Boy and Girl posted here, working on Woman) are based on a certain century-old furry comic strip. So far, only one person has latched onto the joke.
That said, I got a note from a Coconino Sheriff's Deputy accusing me of being his supervisor. He said the details were that accurate. Hey, I do my homework -- and their whole training notebook is available online. I didn't get any notes like that after I published Code 10, I just got punched by an actor I'd never heard of.
