I probably wouldn't finish this if it wasn't for the support and love from my beloved wolfo, I spent stupidly much time on this jeez!

Braids are a very common kind of Thirian adornments, popular mainly with the races of longhaired altwolves in the northern lands. They can be found on one's cheeks, neck, tail, and even a chin when it comes to the beard-growing Oghirans. It's a sign of good health and selfcare, especially since the state of altwolf's fur reflects both of these greatly. Braiding is usually done on oneself, but it can also be a very affectionate and intimate activity for relatives and partners. The whole idea of braids can be traced far back in the history of Thira, as one of the oldest ritual, the wedding ritual, revolves heavily around braiding too.
Thomoe was never interested in such a thing before he met Kajirra, but once she made a few loose braids in his fur while snuggling, he absolutely fell in love with them, and loved to wear them just as much as he loved making some in Kajirra's fur too. 💖
