Some little bearkitty just got his Anti-Covid vaccine.
And while it hurt of course and still has some tears in his eyes, he's trying to smile and be happy.
Of course Sammy also got his shot!
(and he's a little braver than Ghosty it seems).
That being sad... I'm really thankful that I got my first shot last week and will get the second one next week.
And yeah, I know.. the second one is known for knocking you on the ass ^.^' But I don't mind.
If you can and you're eligible for it, people... get the shot, please!
Thank you!

Unfortunatlly its gona take some time when I can have my chanse to the vaccine.
As here the medical personel are fist then the elderly and medically vurnerablle then those whit lesser cases and then starts the regional vaccing of standard citicsens starting from the hottest areas.
So estimated time when I get my shot might be some where autum or further.

Germany is super, super slow as well.
My parents are high risk group and they still haven't got their vaccination <.<
I was just lucky (in a way) to be in the second highest risk group as well and I'm working in Public Health Service with an elevated risk of infection, which bumped me up the ladder a little.

good luck with the second one, honestly imma just wait with getting vaccinated (if i cant dodge it completelly) , because if my time in medical school (jk still studying bruh) has taught me anything, its that viruses cant be vaccinated against... at least not very effectivelly.
There are a number of very effective vaccines against different viruses that have been around for years.
I wouldn't be able to do my job properly without vaccination against Hepatitis A + B, tbh. (I'm a lab tech and have studied medicine for a couple of year, sadly I could not finish it)
But I'm not here to try and coax somebody into something they do not want. That is not my decision to make.
Personally, I'm looking forward to my second shot. But I also know that I will be vigilant.

And i respect that, i know vaccines can be good, but what i fear is when the time comes for me to have my shot, is that they'll give me the speculated Russian Sputnik vaccine, but that fear is mostly cause by a resentment for russian's of certain kind that was passed onto me... so what i fear is the vaccine will be russian quality. (i know how many acutall smart people are working on it, a few nobel prize holders among them)
I do trust the EMA here in Europe and the Paul Ehrlich Institute in Germany.
If the reject it, then they will reject it for good reason. If they accept it, then probably because the studies are valid. But it's still in review, so... idk what will happen.
But I don't know in which place in the world you are and how the rules are there.
I respect your decision and as I said... it is not my place to try and talk you into something.

well you see iam in czechia, and a lot of people that once were in the higher ups of the local soviet governemt and agencies are now in politics, an ex secret service member is our prime minister for crying out loud :D and well they are very supportive of everything the russians bring on the table... so yeah the politics is a real mess since we are slowly but surelly turned into a puppet, i played enough paradox game to realize that XD
