Sorta, I'm sure they have to come out sometime!
But usually when they pip they take a day or two to come out fully. For a while they sit with just their snouts out, absorbing the last of their yolk and taking in the world :)

Cornsnakes are one of the first snakes to be bred in captivity and have a huge variety of color and pattern mutations
They come in a lot of crazy colors now - pink, purplish, yellow, orange, white...

Snakes are adorable at birth c: And pretty much throughout their life.

These are all cornsnakes aka red rat snake aka elaphe guttata guttata
I think it will probably lead a long life... Usually I have few problems getting all these guys to eat :) I guess I don't really know what happens to them after I sell them but I hope they go to good homes, I won't sell to someone if I think they really don't know what they're doing XP

Too many people abuse snakes either through delibrit sadism or not having a clue on how to look after reptiles.
I remeber hearing of one vegan couple who refused to give theur Bosc Monitor rodents because apparently it's evil (one the rats are dead and two holy fucking hell people these animals EAT rodents as the MAIN PART of their diet).

Anyway after feeding it only nuts and leaves (boscs are omnivores so thyey will eat veg but they need meat) for ages it was removed from them because od severe metabolic bone disease and malnutrition. It's head was all caved in because it's skull was so soft and it could barely walk as the bones in it's legs were bending. Sick fuckers. These people called themselves animal lovers as well. If they want a reptile but wont feed it meat they shoudl ahve bought an Iguana

Reptiles do indeed need meat, and it bothers me plenty to see people who either are too stupid to care, or don't know.
It sounds like the couple you've described both need a kick in some sensative parts, maybe it'll set their heads straight.
I do hope these adorable snakes will find better places than that.
