The title of this piece refers to a scene in my original story, "Element."

In the second chapter, an entire village is destroyed by a confused and vengeful Emperor. This young lady's home was destroyed--so was her family. For a long time she tried to keep it in, replacing grief with anger. But during a rather quiet walk with a close friend, she finally lets the tears flow, taking her friend by surprise.
