Audio Transcript: Interview #1 with Vincent [REDACTED] Codename: Freki
Interviewer: Agent [REDACTED] [Note: Agent [REDACTED] used an alias when interacting with subjects Geri and Freki.]
Note: Interview takes place on [REDACTED] after incident US-NY-M#9-08 aka “Fenrir’s Walk”
Agent: Alright Vincent, let’s talk about that night. Tell me from your perspective what happened.
Vincent: Kiva kept growing. She got too big for everything. Movie nights had to stop after she got too big to even see or hear the movie. Tensions were high, and we had a fight.
Agent: What did you two fight about, if you don’t mind me asking?
Vincent: I don’t. We had been experimenting with different ways to get intimate at her newfound size. The larger she got, the more difficult it was for her to get anything out of it. But she’s very emotional. As long as I was there, she felt good about it. Problem is, it got more dangerous for me each week. One time she had me in her mouth and almost bit my hand off without realizing it. She didn’t learn about it until way later when she shrunk down. This scar on my wrist, see?
Agent: I see.
Vincent: That day, I told her no. It wasn't the first time in our relationship I had to put my foot down. I've had bad days where I get home tired and just want to rest. She's always been understanding, but I think at that moment the stress of the situation boiled over. It really got to her that we couldn't be together anymore. I think that's what triggered all of that.
[Silence at 1:48]
Agent: Are you two doing okay?
Vincent: Yeah! She came back to me! I couldn’t be happier! They say that absence makes the heart grow fonder. It felt like for the past couple of months, Kiva was growing more distant both physically and emotionally. But now she’s back and I couldn’t be happier.
Agent: Do you two need anything? Are you getting lonely out here?
Vincent: Keep the basics coming and we should be fine. I’ve got friends online I can talk to, and Kiva and I are happy being alone together. We’ve got options for money and we shouldn’t need the government care packages soon once we find work for her unique talents. I would like to have my parents visit soon though. There aren’t limits on who can visit, right?
Agent: No, of course not. You’re free to invite anyone here.
Vincent: Thank you. You’re gonna visit too, right?
Agent: It’s my job.

Agent's Note: I don't care how expensive the budget gets, keep this one as safe as possible! I don't want to wake up tomorrow and hear about a macro going on a rampage just because her boyfriend died. Best case scenario is she ends up like Jormungandr but stays small enough for a successful cleanup operation. Worst case is some other country finds the right pressure points and gets her to work for them.
Finally, a reference of Vinny from my first story "Dating a Direwolf."
Done by the amazing
Bonimenteur we finally get to see him. He's a pretty normal dude. But sometimes the most extraordinary characters come from ordinary people in extreme circumstances.
Fun fact: One of the jackets I used for reference was the same jacket worn by James Sunderland in "Silent Hill 2." That jacket ended up in the final picture!
