Name: Unknown
Codename: Mortspear
Gender: Male
Orientation: N/A
Species: Blue-footed-Booby.
Age: Unknown
Personality: Observed to be utterly loyal and ruthless, if somewhat mechanical. Who or whatever he was before being in this state, that personality has been deeply buried under layer after layer of psychological conditioning and magical binding. Occasionally he has been witnessed to cry or hold himself back for a fleeting second. But in the end, there is little the identity before can do to stop the identity known as Mortspear from carrying out the orders of his masters. Though if there is a flaw to be found, Mortspear can be driven to take his time in fighting sufficiently powerful opponents, or ignores non-targets, moving anyone in the way aside harmlessly.
Abilities:
Supernatural Condition: Mortspear's augmentations have put him on par with high-tier supernatural beings such as the oldest of the Sidhe themselves. His attributes are thus highly difficult to measure with mundane scales. He is capable of safely leaving the atmosphere, and swift enough that he can circumnavigate the globe in a single day. Also especially notable is his healing factor, which lets him recover all but the most grievous wounds in seconds.
Celestial Reactor Core: The key to Mortspear's powers, one of three such devices is implanted into him, and attuned to his being. With a measured power output capable of providing energy to all of North America, it grants him a vast array of options, and counts as quantum energy. As a side effect, combined with his augmentations, his aging has ground to a halt.
Energy Manipulation: Mortspear can tap into the energies of the reactor core and unleash it in multiple ways. His spear, an energy weapon with an independent power source, can be used to channel arcs or bolts of the core's power.
Musician: A fragment of his past life, Mortspear is an capable pianist.
Profile: Once an average person from a fishing village with aspirations of working on Broadway, a trip out to the sea to unwind and some catching would seal his fate. He was kidnapped, his boat sunk, and taken away to a secret laboratory by a mysterious organization. There he was experimented on, technology of a long-lost civilization used to turn him into a cyborg, and his true self was buried and replaced by a loyal weapon. The man he was lives on, however, in the Celestial Reactor Core, and he can occasionally take small actions to control his body. For the time being, Mortspear is the organization's heavy hitter.
His existence is a sticking point for many governments, as he has proven able to decimate anyone and anything yet sent against him. The United Nations' Department of Empowered Law Enforcement has his capture as one of their highest priorities, and one can only hope they do so before the organization decides to use Mortspear for an end that would cause catastrophe.
Weaknesses: Mortspear's chief weakness is the one his masters imparted on him intentionally, the bindings that hold him. The chains and manacles he wears can lock him in place and hold him helpless at a moment's notice. Weapons of Atlantean or Fae origin can bypass his supernatural resistance and healing factor, and chains of Orichalcum can outright shut off his access to his powers. Finally, his body can only channel the energies of the Celestial Reactor Core for so long before he needs to retreat and cool down. A burnout is entirely possible for him, as his control over the power isn't perfect thanks to his true will constantly fighting from within.
