I always wonder if these questions are rhetorical or petardarded to an audience.
The old tortoise nods, This is cage is so big I cannot see the bars, to be out of the cave before the Elfien Lied despairs me somewhat for those trapped inside. However, not everyone can be a turtle, hare, fishstick, or astartes medicranus birdie birdus, wolf, fox, or old man dying of pneumonia for that matter.

great metaphore, snapping turtles are interesting monsters, I haven't much experience with them, yet.

I love carp, too, but in the context of the metaphore I relate to the turtles.

We do, though the more I watch the world and humanity, the more I see a snapping turtle in me. In the animalistic sense, I have had a small biting problem lately.

I've heard if you want to rescue one from the road, you poke him with a stick and he will bight onto the stick and not let go for anything, and you can then safely carry him, hanging from the stick, to safety. one of my DA friends posted a photo of herself with a snapping turtle hanging from a stick like that.

Lol, I shall have to remember that the next time I see one.
