Involuntary Vacation
“There we are~” Jayden nodded as he finished watering the last of the flowers bed near the town square and put the pail watering can away. He exhaled, feeling a renewed sense of satisfaction at a job well done as a smile gradually spread across his face.
Ever since he had become the representative of Aegis Island a lot of tasks had left him feeling this way, even the tough and tedious ones. Seeing a completely deserted island getaway gradually growing into a splendid little community thanks to his efforts was simply too satisfying a feeling. Even the daily grind hardly put him off of feeling proud of his work.
Humming a tune to himself the young man headed for his cottage with a bit of a spring in his step. He took his time, choosing the scenic route to enjoy the pleasant ocean breeze and check up on some of the new arrivals in town. He exchanged greetings with some of his neighbors, collected some fruit and even managed to slam his net over a particularly persistent tarantula that’s been bothering for a couple of days now.
Jayden smirked as he put the little critter into a plastic container and brought it up to his face. “No more terrorizing the townsfolk for you, you little ankle-biter~” The young man teased, watching the little thing trying to lunge at him through the plastic wall. “Heheh… Don’t worry though, we’ll find you a new place to stay~” He put the little box into his bag and headed home.
The door swung open and the young man stepped in. It was a cozy place, yet unmistakably refined. Jayden took pride in what he’d managed to do with it, smiling at sight of the nice little couch he got the other day and immediately shaking his head in disbelief at the big cranky eagle lazing about on top of it.
“And here I was, wondering why I couldn’t spot you anywhere on the island. Hey there, Buzz.” The young man greeted with a nod. “Did you need something?”
“Hey there, captain! And nah… Nothin’ much, was just checkin’ your place out is all. I gotta tell ya, this couch is just too soft to resist.” Stretching his legs, Buzz crossed them one over the other and turned towards Jayden. “You don’t mind, do you?” he asked, gently adjusting his red armor suit in a way that revealed a bit of his feathered belly.
“Oh, not at all! Feel free to make yourself at home.” Jayden said with a chuckle as he set the container with his latest capture down on the floor and turned to his visitor. “Though it seems you already have.”
Buzz turned over, lying on his stomach and stretching out again. “Mmnnnngh… You could say that again.” Buzz hummed, seemingly unconcerned with the fact that he had essentially invaded Jayden’s home. Lucky for him though, Jayden did not really seem to mind. “My tummy’s grumbling though. Got anything tasty around here, captain?”
“Oh, I’m sure I’ve got some fruit left here somewhere.” The young man had a quick look around, gathering a few apples and peaches in a ball and adding a rather generous helping of cherries to go with those. “Here you go~”
With a soft clack the bowl landed on a small table just beside Buzz and the bird smiled, giving Jayden a grateful nod. “Thanks, captain. It’s good to see us old-timers have kind folk like you to rely on.”
Jayden chuckled at the compliment and shook his head as a faint blush lit up on his cheeks as he continued tidying his place up. He was expecting one of his friends from another island to come visit soon after all.
And so the human got to work, scooping up turnips and other clutter he left scattered about, not even noticing that Buzz seemed less focused on the bowl of fruit than he was on the young man himself.
“You know…” The eagle spoke as, halting Jayden’s working pace as the human looked up at his guest instead. “You’ve been very accommodatin’ in this comfy house of yours, so I thought I ought to give you something nice in return too!”
“Oh?” Jayden perked up after allowing himself to relax for a few moments. “That’s sweet of you, Buzz. But really it’s no trouble.”
“No, no I insist.” The eagle continued, sitting up on the couch and rummaging around his pockets for something. “You know, I’ve been hearing rumors about you, some people say you’re kind of a snack, you know? And I don’t think they’re too far off the mark there. So I got to thinking, you’ve got this cozy place all to yourself when snacks are supposed to be staying in bellies, and I’ve got a mighty comfy one right here so…”
“Wh-what?” Jayden gave a nervous laugh, putting away his broom and cocking his head at the eagle. “I’m not sure what you’re-“
“So I thought, why not just make my belly your new home?~“ Buzz smirked at the young man and whipped out a fancy-looking magic wand. All it took was a single swipe through the air and the human found himself enveloped in bright light that left him feeling queasy and weightless. As soon as it faded though, he would realize why.
Jayden found himself surrounded by a much, much more imposing version of his room. “Ah crap!” A sudden loud noise sounded from behind startling the now miniature man. He jumped and fell flat on his back at the sight of the spider he’d captured earlier trying to lunge at him through the transparent wall of its container again. The small critter was terrifying enough in its own right, but now that Jayden was reduced in size its visage alone was enough to leave the poor young man pale with terror.
“Hey!” An annoyed voice rang out from above. “You get away, from him, mister!” Buzz’s heavy footsteps rumbled through the floor as he approached and lifted the container up to his face. “You leave my little snack alone, got it?” He gave the tarantula a grim, intimidating look and, upon seeing the nasty little thing backing up towards the other wall of the plastic box, simply put it in on a higher shelf.
Buzz turned to Jayden, looking down at the little man and shaking his head. “Those pesky things, I swear.” He sighed and reached down, gently cupping his wings around the little human and scooping him up. “So how about it, captain? Wanna take a look at your new home?”
Jayden could practically feel a dialogue box popping up in his head as he felt the soft feathers of his friend gently rubbing up against his body. He looked up at Buzz, both confused and elated by this sudden turn of events. “I-I… I mean… How did you even- uhh… Yeah! You bet!” He exclaimed.
The usually stern face of the orange eagle seemed to light up with enthusiasm at that response. “Gahaha! That’s exactly what I’d expect to hear from a little snack like you! Well, in you go then!”
And just like that, Jayden found himself lifted in the air over Buzz’s beak as it opened up. After just a second to build up the anticipation, the giant eagle released his grip and allowed the little guy to fall down a short distance. He would land right atop the massive pointy-tipped tongue of the cranky bird and immediately feel it press into him, slathering him in saliva as all around a moan of pleasure would echo.
“Mmm… You know, at first I was just a little puckish but mmm… You taste good, Jayden. I think you’ll be staying in my belly for a reaaaally long time.” Buzz announced as he pressed the little guy, sliding him back and worth along the firm but squishy surface of the palette. Jayden would feel the tongue pressing into him, bending and curving around him as he became trapped in a small pocket of air, completely immobilized. “Gahaha! No way I’m letting you escape it anytime soon.” The eagle laughed, the commotion of it bouncing Jayden up and down within the beak a little.
As Buzz moved back to the couch, he continued tasting his future tenant, the tongue would wrap around Jayden, squeezing at his arms and legs and soaking his clothes as it effortlessly wrestled him into submission. “Gah… Hahah! You’re so much cuter all small like this, and I bet you like it too, don’t you? Maybe I’ll just keep you like this.” Buzz said and held out a pause as he flipped the little guy over again. “And don’t worry, no pesky bugs are gonna bother you when I’m around!” The eagle clapped himself proudly on the chest before stretching his arms again. Buzz lay back down on the couch with a yawn to allow little Jayden a brief glimpse of the room outside. It only lasted a moment though as a moment later, the tongue scooped him back under it once more.
“Hey, weren’t you going to show me my new home?” The little guy called out, blushing and pushing away at the tongue which seemed all too happy to lap at the little guy’s blushing cheeks.
“Yeah? And aren’t snacks supposed to keep quiet and enjoy being tasted? Don’t be such a buzzkill, captain. Heh… Buzz… Kill… Geheh.”
“O-oh… Well that’s...” Jayden shifted around uncomfortably, feeling juuust a little nervous at that sort of language.
“GAHAHAHAH!” The eagle laughed, this time keeping Jayden pinned firmly in his place under the ever-shifting tongue, rubbing it into Jayden’s back in a sort of reassuring gesture. “Got you worried didn’t I? Sorry. Don’t worry that pretty little head of yours though, I’d be fool to hurt a cute little snack like you. And besides, you’re my newest tenant! Your safety is my responsibility!”
Jayden relaxed a little at those words. “Hahah… Thank you, Buzz. I figured I’ve got nothing to worry about with you around but still… Thanks.”
Immediately he would feel the Buzz’s tongue lap at him in response as the giant hummed and opened his beak a little in a sort of happy grin. “That’s right!” The eagle concluded with a nod and stretched once again, leaning his head back and making little Jayden slide further and further back towards the edge of his throat. “Well… Time for you to go see your new home then, captain!” And then, without so much as a chance for Jayden to protest, Buzz swallowed the little guy up, legs first. Jayden found himself pulled through folds upon folds of flesh that brushed past around his delicate body until he finally found himself inside a small stuffy pocket within big ol’ Buzz.
“Ahhh…” The eagle exhaled, ‘smacking his lips’ at the aftertaste of his friend. “Let me know how you like your new place in there, little guy.” He said lifting away the armor plates and prodding at his belly or, more specifically, at the tiny lump within it that seemed to shift in response.
“Wh-whoa hahah!” Jayden yelped a little as he felt the oppressive poking through the fleshy walls. There wasn’t much he could do as the already rather cramped space within Buzz’s stomach grew smaller and smaller, walls shifting inwards on him as the stomach seemed to grumble at his presence a little.
Very quickly Jayden would find himself getting intimately familiar with every nook and cranny of his new home. The slimy surfaces curved inwards pushing into his face one second and then burying it in the opposite wall the next, dragging it along the slippery surfaces. The little guy was caught in an endless flurry of motion with fleshy folds lapping at his face, his arms, and legs… All while outside Buzz seemed to be having a whale of a time messing with his new tenant. “Gahahah! You feel good in there, captain. I think I’ll allow you to stay the first week for free and then… Well…” The eagle prodded at his chin with the tip of his wing, pondering for a moment. “Eh… I’ll think of something, we’ll find a way to keep you occupied.” He concluded with a nod and finally allowed the little guy to relax. “Maybe some tummy rubs?”
It took a few moments for the young man to get his bearings as the world finally seemed to calm around him and he, in turn, was allowed to find a calm place within it. Breathing a sigh of relief, he’d finally have a moment to appreciate Buzz’s stomach, with the thin layer of shiny fluid coating the irregular stomach walls, the stale, hot air that reminded Jayden of being in a sauna and of course the sound of Buzz’s body at work: the even breathing, the steady heartbeat, the dozens of other squelching and slithering noises coming from elsewhere in the body… Down in here, Jayden was right in the middle of it all, and he was all too happy to simply lie down and take a breather in this little heaven on earth.
“So how’d you like your new residence then?” Buzz asked, still gently rubbing at his abdomen and savoring the pleasing sensation of his little friend moving about within his stomach.
“Oh Buzz… You know when you mentioned staying in your stomach, at first I thought you were joking but mngh….” The little guy flipped over, his shirt sliding up and revealing his own belly as it rubbed against the moist folds of flesh underneath him. "This might be the best place to stay on the whole island~”
“Oh gah… Hahah…” The laughter seemed a little less boisterous than normal as Jayden was certain the big cranky bird was blushing up above. “Well… Well good! Cuz I wasn’t plannin’ on lettin’ ya stay anywhere else for a gooood long while.”
“But… What about the rest of the town? I’ve got so much work to do all the time.” The little guy tried to argue.
“Eh…” Came the careless sigh from above as Buzz paused, focused and released a bit of a belch into the world outside, chuckling under his breath before carrying on. “The way I figure it, you’ve been running around doin’ all the work all by your lonesome, it’s about time someone else stepped up for a change. So startin’ tomorrow you take a break while your pal Buzz takes care of things for ya!” The eagle laughed and allowed himself to pump up his chest a little. “Heh, maybe Pierce will wanna help too after he gets a turn with you that I promised.”
“W-wait what?” Jayden said, feeling his cheeks burning up with embarrassment.
“’Course! Are ya really that surprised I told him? What were the chances of you saying no, anyway? Gahaha!”
“Well… Admittedly, pretty low, heh. Gosh I’m…” Jayden pressed his hands into the stomach walls, rubbing at them gently and hearing Buzz’ moan rumble above and around him in response. “I’m inside you.”
“Yup!” Buzz confirmed. “And you’re gonna be stayin’ in there for a while, like I said.”
“Hah… Hahah… Alright, alright, I get it. I’m not gonna nag about it, I promise. And… Thanks. Everyone on the island is nice, but it still feels so special that you’re going out of your way to help me like that.”
“Ah, don’t mention it. Just uhh… Let me know if there’s anything I shouldn’t touch, yeah? I can tell you’ve got some sort of theme going, but I’m not sure I’d understand even if you explained it to me so…” The eagle awkwardly ruffled the feathers on his head. “Well… Let’s do our best anyway. You relaxin’ and me helpin’ my bestie out in making this the best darn deserted island getaway it can be! Gahaha!”
A warm feeling inside Jayden’s heart matched the warm cozy environment he would be staying inside of for the… Well only Buzz knew for how long, really.
“Now then, get settled in. You’re a guest for now, but you try anything funny like escaping to do more work around the island, I’m downgrading you to an inmate!”
“Then I’ll be trapped in the best prison in the whole world~”
“Oh hush you. Just… Enjoy your stay, captain. And I’m gonna catch some shut eye before we get to work. Hope you don’t mind me using your couch~”
“Well actually-“ Jayden was about to speak up when a loud gulping noise echoed up above his head. He braced himself as… what definitely used to be a pair of cherries landed just beside him, followed by bits of a fresh red apple.
A satisfied belch rang out above as Buzz rubbed at his stomach again, shaking up Jayden and helping the new food items to settle a little better around him. “Mmmm… A Jayden fruit salad… Gotta try some one day, gahaha!”
Jayden couldn’t bring himself to speak up against it as more and more of the fruit made its way down into his home, gradually filling it up with a refreshing juicy scent. Jayden closed his eyes and took a deep breath, relishing the pleasant aroma.
Suddenly though, something firm bumped on top of him, snapping him out of the peaceful moment and bringing him back to reality where a single cherry rested in his lap in utterly pristine condition.
“Here ya go, captain! Though you might as well have some to chew on yourself, gahaha!”
The young man chuckled, shifting around and hugging the cherry and settling in all nice and cozy once more. “Thank you, Buzz you really-“ He was just about to thank his caring landlord when the sound of loud snoring cut him off; the big bird was already asleep, way too comfy and pleased with himself to put off his afternoon nap any longer.
The young man chuckled, shifting around and making sure he was in a comfy spot too. After all the things he’s been doing around the place, a short vacation sounded perfect~
“Oh!” Jayden gasped as a thought suddenly resurfaced in his head. He reached into his pocket pulling out a phone and messaging his friend: “Hey, just wanted to let you know I probably won’t be able to meet up today. Or anytime soon for that matter. I’m on tummy detention until further notice >///<”
