The third in a series of pictures for
shadow3397 depicting the various troopers of the KH Military. This time we have the Howlee sisters, Tammy and Sammy, as two Jump Troopers celebrating their victory with exuberance.
The Jump Trooper is almost identical to the standard Battle Trooper in kit except for one major addition: a jetpack with folding wings attached to the back. This grants the Jump Trooper the ability to fly for short periods, allowing them a height and mobility advantage. There are mainly used to reach high, inaccessible areas or to quickly move over difficult terrain or enemy fortifications and positions.

For technical details, Striker can answer that better but IIRC their armor is powered (enough to make it carry its own weight at least). The wings are lightweight materials, used for balance during hovering and extra lift during flight (both augmented by micro thrusters throughout each wing). Most other Jump Troopers are armed with the usual KH-50 Rifle, however the Howlee Twins instead use Sonic Weapons build into their gauntlets, both for offensive sonic shockwave blasts and defensive shields (for instance using an intense short burst to divert or outright block incoming bullets).
