I didn't actually use any references or inspiration for his clothes, not directly anyway. I just kinda winged it. I'm sure it's vaguely derivative in the sense that I haven't invented sashes, pants, boots, vests, or shendyt-like loinclothy doo-deals but I just kinda played it by ear and allowed my general knowledge of costumery to guide my decisions.
(Now I haz a jealous, 'cause I murder stick figures!)
