This is a rough model of the blade of a sword I'm thinking about having made. The final version's edge may have a differrent pattern but will look relativly like this.

Its made to tear flesh, like if I was to stab with this it would tear flesh and/or leave multiple entry wounds. Though it still dosn't look the same as I envisioned it in my head, and I think I finally know why. The jags should extend out from the blade instead of them being carved into it. Anyway in what way is it unpractical?
give it a shot if you want, though I dont think itll come out as i am imagining it. what im seeing in my head is this, except the jags extend from the blade instead of being carved into it. also the jags should be bigger and less numrous, until you get to thhe tip where they should be small and numerous.
