A very unexpected, and patriotic surprise! You do spoil us with all these surprise gifts, but I must say this is one of your most adorable pictures to date, with all four of us enjoying the Fourth of July in a most appropriate fashion. Now, about Animal Crossing...*blush* I admit that I've seen the game, but never really played it so, this character "Fang" you mentioned makes me wish I did play...I guess there are more nice Grey wolves out there then I thought...and spouting such a phrase does seem downright fitting and coincidental >.> And I don't mean to sound like a broken record, but don't beat yourself up over things like your thoughts...we all ramble time to time (*points to self* Case in point), so don't feel bad about it...*hands the koopa an ice cream sandwich, still in the wrapper, and lightly presses it to the slapped cheek, smiling lightly*

Now, the picture itself is very sweet in conception and execution, seeing all four regressed friends expressing each other in different ways with the simple medium of sparklers (which I do fondly recall, I used in a wand like manner, like the pup in the picture seems to be doing, though writing an epic in fireworks DOES sound pretty epic). Calex seems quite kittenish in his energetic display of sparkler management (should probably add a "Do Not Do This At Home" sticker to this pic, cause I can just guess how hot that feels X3), and FictionFox does seem awfully dexterious, spinning those sparklers to drum a solo so well...especially with baggy sleeves >.>. The fourth and final member of this little party certainly seems to be enjoying himself as well, though he does seem to be getting an awful lot of speed given baggy shoes/socks and that oversized shell...but, logic aside, let the little koopa have his fun =3. The black and white medium may make this difficult to present, but it seemed no trouble to you, to express the many lights and shadows expressed in the four regressed revelers in, and look cute doing it (I still chuckle at Calex's expression). Very VERY excellent bonus work.

<..< And the reference to that rather large distraction we sort of started in Calex's piece is welcomed, though I still want to apologize to Calex again about hijacking that...it was fun, but really off the beaten trail XD. Also...where can I pre-order some of these "special" sparklers...? For next July Fourth, of course ;D

Too bad they're practically illegal where I live.

Aww, so cute, but I'm glad it's them and not me. I can be... self-destructive when in the presence of pyrotechnics. I once set my foot on fire. To this day, I still have a certain abhorrence of the Independence day firework tradition.

Well you don't have to worry with these! They're special sparklers. They don't burn or hurt anything as they're enchanted so whatever the sparks touch slowly gets regressed in age physically the more they wave them around.

I've got some left over from this year if you want some! *offers a box*
