Root of All Eevee (ANIM) - Eevee TF Sequence
A story-board style comic animation of an Eevee TF staring Jamie and Dabby. 62 frames, so I merged it into an animation to keep things simple. Hope you guys are fast readers!
Jamie is an 8-year-old kid with aspirations to become a Pokemon Ranger and the energy to boot.
Dabby is his partner and close friend Pokemon. An Odytt; normal/ghost type and the evolved form of Ditto, capable of transforming others rather than herself.
One of his schoolmates, Senn Obbish, is one of those classic rich kids who wanted stuff and threw a tantrum when he didn't get it. He wanted Jamie's rare Pokemon and attempted to trade his Dragonair for it. Jamie refused; they'd been together since he was four. Senn didn't approve.
So, he goes ahead and has his goons kidnap Jamie in an attempt to force him to give up Dabby. Little did he know, Dabby rarely leaves Jamie's side.

I think you should be a little more suspect at why the ropes could have been untied so easily. Dabby beat Senn to the punch; she loosened the ropes enough that he was actually untied to begin with. Hence why he, an eight-year-old, stayed defiant despite the threat of a baseball bat to the face.
Think apprentaces of Adomm. They reach into their target's bodies, pull out their threads of existence, so to say, and then they weave and mold it into something else, changing the target with them. Stone into apples, wood into gold, people into Pokemon, and so on.
That is, only if they know what they are doing, and genetic manipulation is immensely sophisticated to them. Especially as it's usually self-taught due to their rarity. Thus, much practice and reference material is needed for even the most basic transformations.
