Bartering in the Southern Ash is often very worth one's while. Countless hard to find ingredients for medicines, carefully preserved seeds for agriculture, and other hard to acquire items are abundant. The difficulty comes in having something to trade that would be of interest to the dragon Garjan, the big green very rarely interested in conventional "riches" like gold. One must also be prepared to be asked to have a drink and a chat with the forest dragon, as stories are often considered a necessary part of the payment.
