This is one of two trans pride pieces I commissioned for trans day of visibility this year. This represents both how I use furry as a way to express being trans and how I use my fursonas to protect me, as a trans woman, from potential hate and discrimination. It has always been easier to say, oh I just enjoy a female furaona, then to say that I am a trans woman. The lily represents my chosen name.
