“Here we come! It’s the start of InuJinba!” “Travel back in time for a four-legged feudal fairy tale!”Next in my series of your favorite characters drawn as taurs is InuYasha from… InuYasha! (I decided to taurify Shippo too because he’s adorable and I want to adopt him 🦊)
Maybe it’s just me, but any time InuYasha is described as a HALF-demon, my incessant centaur brain rot forces me to picture him as some sort of half-man, half-animal creature; considering he’s a dog demon, I had no trouble figuring out how to interpret the great suggestion @eggsandblakon left in my ask box. Thanks a bunch, man! 🍳🥓
I started watching InuYasha on Netflix a couple months ago by now; with only two seasons listed and knowing that it’s an anime held in high regard by its fans, I figured it’d be a fun and easy one to watch through fairly quickly. But when I neared the end of season two and the show’s myriad plot threads didn’t seem to be resolving, I decided to verify exactly how long the series ran for and… well, I’m only just finishing the end of season five (thanks for coming in clutch, Hulu) with three seasons and four movies left to go. While it certainly isn’t the short and succinct series I thought it would be, I can safely say that I have enjoyed it all the way through—if anything, discovering that there was plenty more for me to enjoy was a very pleasant surprise!
