So here's one of the city maps I did with Greg, this one featured in the City of Aquile sourcebook (now out of print it seems). Its located on the map at https://www.furaffinity.net/view/41355351/ in the northwest border of the kingdom of Averne across from the Malevestan Forest and the Free Counties. The city is located at the only good crossing point on the river (basically the land down river is fenland, bog, and salt marsh) and straddles both a trade route and a pilgrimage route (thus catering to both trades). The city also famed for its minstrels and its roses (giving it the title "City of Roses); a local luxury good is rose perfume which is traded across the continent and rosewater sweet-rolls are a local treat.
