I was going to go to sleep at a normal time and be all refreshed but no, just to prove your tweet about the boobs:caring ratio wrong I'll work through the yawns. (If I seemed off for the rest of this, Ive been up since 8 yesterday.)

Hands down the best thing about this pic has to be the colorings. You've had a good system in your last pieces but the way you blended gray tones in the tail and the hand really stand out well, and the darker lines make some nice depth on surfaces that otherwise tend to seem flat.

While I'm on the body, the fur in general on this work is top notch. I really dig the level of detail you used from the pecks up (ha see, no boobs and I still went there.). It's that style of shaggier fur that, used sparingly, does a lot of good to add minute details, or at least it seems to.

As per usual your lighting usage really works to make the character come to life. I'm also a big fan of some of the lighting work on the bike, especially on the engine and bars. I don't really know what to say beyond that on the topic. Its beginning to feel like a dead horse subject with your shading, but at the same time I don't want to over look it.

You get no poor marks on this piece. Its not that I think there are none, but I've decided that I just don't want to do that on somebody else's commission any more. I guess that means your going to have to get to work on your own sorts of projects if you want actual reviews as opposed to multi-paragraph ego strokes ( :| this punishment seems flawed...) don't you have any personal things....like I dunno....a COMIC or something....

I do have a comic to do but I also have about 14 commissions to work on. Those come first, for awhile. I'll probably take a break to do some reference sheets for characters in the comic and re-do the shit pages, etc...

Thanks for all the pluses though, had to try a ton of new stuff in this one and I think it worked. Also glad you noticed my twit-bitching, I'm way to prone to it.

I can understand that, money always comes first. I'm just giving ya fair warning that you get no more minuses on commission work and making sure you don't forget about your other stuff.

Haha, yeah the nice dress attire was something I learned at SCAD: always dress better than the fans. It's common for artists to be really well dressed at San Diego Comic Con, at AC?
