Well, after being an Apple fan for over 12 years now, I finally bought my first Mac new-in-the-box! It's the latest version of the MacBook Air, with Apple's keen new ARM-based M1 silicon chip, which is faster and more powerful than its' Intel predecessors. It's even almost as powerful as the M1-chip 13" MacBook Pro now (compared to the Intel versions, of course!) I needed to get a newer Mac laptop that could run Mac OS 11 Big Sur, as my prior Mac laptop was a late 2009 polycarbonate MacBook (I'll still hold onto it for running older 32-bit applications, though!) and my 2012 quad-core Mac Mini can't run Big Sur (it'll still be my main desktop, though!) And since I've had that computer tech job for five months now and have been making good money from it, I figured the time was right to make the plunge! And Zak Wolf here couldn't be happier!
