A bunch of examples of Shortcake's wardrobe.

Going from top right to bottom left
1) I liked the idea of a strawberry logo top and a long sleeved shirt/skirt combo. Even if pink isn't the best colour for a red character to wear.
2) I felt like I needed to do a sweater/hoodie and pants set and loved the strawberry logo enough to reuse it.
3) Overalls because little kids in overalls are cute. Ended up going with orange and then realised I could use the yellow of the buttons and give it a citrus feel.
4) Pajama set. Though I'm not 100% sold on the shirt image or colours.
5) Simple dress, for something girly. Looking at too many Sailor Moon pics again too.

8) Another sleep wear piece. This one was definitely inspired by Chibiusa's pajamas.

I could have come up with more, but didn't want to go overboard. Needed to remind myself too that designing a few clothing sets doesn't mean you have o use them.
Seriously though it is fun coming up with kids clothing. Coming up with colours that work for a strawberry is a little tricky though, may have just ended up ignoring her skin colour at times.
