Third installment for Dethmetal
Things are looking worse than ever for Carmen Sandiego, now neck deep in the pit of wet cement and those searchlights closing in fast. The gooey trap has locked the pretty purloiner in place with nowhere to go but down. Whether she's captured or submerged, her fate seemed all but set in stone.

Beautifully done once again, Hefess, thank you very much. :D
Things are indeed not looking very good for poor Carmen,… but I must say, a beautiful woman neck deep, and still sinking deeper, in quicksand, mud, or wet cement, is a truly lovely sight to me, and as you say, it seems she is going nowhere but down. Those beautifully drawn sink lines seem to confirm that she is indeed still going down, and the apparent thickness of the cement speaks of just how truly stuck she is in this ‘city quicksand’, which the footprint still on the surface behind her seems to accent. I love how her hair spreads and bunches up on the surface behind and around her, and that bit of her collar still sticking up is a nice touch. Her expression is great, that gritted teeth, wide eyed, look of panic is perfect for her situation. I love how her eyes are still following that searchlight though, it seems the red-crested thief has two things to worry about as the lights get closer, but it still begs the question, which is worse? ;)
