Damn! That was quick. LOL I'm in Fort Wayne and deliver in the area all the time.

Totally rad!! I am glad there are others around, seems deafening without being reminded!

There's plenty of us around, we just don't make much noise.

Oh I totally laughed and showed it to Gloria... it's funny how things age and price... to a point, old means cheap, and then, all of a sudden, the price starts going up - surprise!

Once upon a time I was pretty much on a first name basis with the local junk yards. One day the fellow says, let me show you something. He took me back and there in the yard sat a 50's Rolls Royce Princess. It was so sad to view. I would have loved to own it as a project, but at the time I was having enough problems just trying to keep my little junker alive.

I remember when chopped VW buses were all the rage... a friend of mine made two of them out of four mashed buses. One was a split window the other was a bay window. He did a nice job of them.

Folks that can do that have my upmost respect. I'm less than a hack by comparison. LOL

I've done things like this too but not to a vw bus... tho I do have a Quincy Lynn Boonie Bug that sits on a vw bus chassis.
