As nice as it is to see an unlikeable sociopath like Nagus get his just reward (ironically Eggman and Snivley have more charisma... maybe cause we've seen them care for someone other than themselves however insanely rarely), it's stunning that he engaged in a scheme with this many moving parts and didn't have a back-up plan.
