I think I'm coming to terms with the fact that I can't create art out of a vacuum. Any of the art I've created that I've actually liked is usually heavily referenced. I need to study more masterwork like a good little art student so I can at least figure out how the guys and gals who know what they're doing got it done. I eventually want to be able to create figures out of my imagination, but I've a lot of work that needs to be done. I want to do a few more studies out of this painting so hopefully I'll get Goneril and Reagan done as well.
