Oh my gosh! It's that time again! Houston, we have an amel! :D
Lady bub's clutch always seems to hatch around AC XD (I suppose some people would think of it as "4th of July weekend" as that's a more stable timepoint) But since AC wasn't early this year I was home to see the first noses :B I must order pinkies and prepare for the deluge... and swamp you with photos in return ;)
This is Lady Bub's first clutch. This year I went a little nuts and put her with Gil (butter het anery, motley) and the lavender boy (het amel, rumored to maybe be het anery). So I'm only going to sell these as visuals :B I did this because I wanted normals/aneries/amels/snows and good old nark (het snow, Lady Bub's usual mate) was seeming kind of tired :B
I thought there was only one nose but looking at this photo it looks like maybe there is an anery poking out of the egg slightly down and to the right, or something under the moss.
Also, if you're wondering what those blue marks on the eggs are - nontoxic marker. Unlike bird eggs, snake eggs shouldn't be turned over once laid. The developing embryo attaches to part of the egg and if it gets turned the yolk sac can suffocate it! So I mark the eggs before transferring so I know which end is up :)

For some reason every single time I see baby snakes coming out of shell.. I keep having this odd urge to go 'Awww.. i want to gently poke it's nose' >.<... this is most likely due to my mothers Corn Snake Ra who likes to hide in what used to look like an egg shapped hollow log...he oddly liked having his nose poked.
