I usually very peaceful monk in tune with there chakra, They use the paper wards to keep away dark spirits.
When the wards come off you know there something wrong with the nature and spirits of the world. and they need dark forces to help save the balance.
However the wards rarely come off as it protects the aria around them as well.

There companion is just there for there harvest of fruit at first but slowly build a bond as they wonder far and wide with them. however it will cower away when conflict arises.
