Richard was a wild Dragonite that was born as a dratiny but totally white. While this didn't affected his life it brought the attention of humans that wanted to investigate him. As he evolved until becoming a Dragonite he was subject to experiments that tried to unleash any hidden potential... Needles to say he wasn't taking it anymore and decided to escape using force, however that made him a bit visually impaired which made him him get his glasses. The collar is a memento of what happened, but he feels attached to it. :) He is basically a father figure for other Pokemons trying to keep them safe as well. Thought he is also a gluttony one.
