It is. That part on her shoulder keeps her nerves steady and then links them to her prosthetic with electric currents that have sensors on parts of the hand do she can kind of "feel" but not as good as a real hand. So it stings like crazy on the initial connection.

I already admired Piper as you know, but this and the prequel piece just adds to it. Beyond all the occasional shenanigans, she's a genuinely strong character that doesn't let herself get held back for anything.

Regarding this piece specifically, I wonder how she knew how to safely build and attach a prosthetic neuro coupler without potentially overloading her nerves or inducing neural feedback and giving herself a stroke. All with one hand, I might add. A mouse of many hats, I suppose? XD
