Savoy loves to explore ruins of humanity, she's a curious and quiet dinosaur gal who has no home and is a drifter, travelling from one place to the next. Here she found the crumbling husk of an old human-vehicle known as an "automobile" and brushed off the algae and growth from the inside, seeking a warm place to sleep the evening away. Her world is a dangerous place, dinosaurs having reclaimed the earth, and sentient they are, there are still far larger and hungrier predators than little Savoy out there.
I LOVE this painting. I have a few process images of it up on my twitter, sadly I didn't think to take a video of it, but I painted the entire background first, knowing I'd add savoy in later. I looked at several old photos of cars rotting away for reference on the algae growth and otherwise winged it ^ ^ Feedback is much much loved on this painting, it took an entire day but I am beyond thrilled with it! Machinery isn't something I paint much, even in the professional world so it was a very rewarding experience ^ ^

That looks fantastic, I love the mood and how cosy it looks. My only critique is that I could tell that Savoy had been drawn in after the background, and her laying angle looks a little off. In saying that the overall design is utterly brilliant, like I said before the mood is so clear. It also reads well, before I even read the description I basically knew what was going on storywise. Really awesome work. :)
