A new drawing is ready! Yes, another shipping, if you have any trouble with that please leave your written complaint via PM, thank you. So, the original idea around this drawing wasn't exactly this, but after the sketch and other stuff I decided to move it in this direction and I like it a lot. I'm not completely convinced with older Spike's anatomy but it is anyway pretty good in my opinion. I really love those moonlight scenes, they are so relaxing. I know my skills in lights and shadows are too far of being decent, but I like to do my best try. By the way, I haven't see drawings about "Spikebelle" with diapers, that's weird in my opinion. Well, let's help to increase that number then.

I cry on the inside for how I did not see that you added more cuteness to your adorable gallery of art. This new job is really making me late to reply to comments and, now, I am not even noticing posts from my friends. :(

This is another heartwarming piece of art, Sweetie. The way you describe the scene is so soothing. It makes it easy to imagine Spike and Sweetie Belle becoming a perfect pair of cuddly characters.
What is really adorable to think about is how Spike and Sweetie both have green eyes! I had never thought of this common feature of the two until just now!
A story for this moment would be cute if Spike had found a large emerald to give Sweetie as a gift. Then, by coincidence, Sweetie Belle bakes Spike a small cake that has green frosting with bits of emeralds sprinkled on top and baked into the non-frosted part.
The two meet and find themselves unable to say anything for how they both had thought of similar ideas in how to share their affection for each other. Spike saying he will make a brooch so Sweetie can wear her emerald and Spike being a gentle dragon as he takes small bites out of the cake Sweetie Belle made for him.
Sweetie Belle has felt a lot of love for Spike. She knows it has been really hard for him as a result of needing to wear diapers. She knows he has not liked being seen as just a 'baby dragon' and wants to be there to protect him from anyone who may say unfriendly things about his need for padded garments.
This could be what gets her inspired to become 'The Padded Princess Of The Foals'? She, as a Cutie Mark Crusader, wants Spike to feel comfortable despite his need for protection. This makes her think of how she was teased for needing diapers for bedwetting and/or not taking so quickly to the potty. If both she and Spike had experienced bullying and actions by creatures who think a diaper is a garment only for foals and creatures that are not smart, she would want to help do what she can to take away the shame of needing a diaper.
Spike would certainly be surprised when she returned from her journey to become 'The Padded Princess'. I know he would like being there to help ponies, dragons, and all other creatures to not feel sad as a result of needing, or maybe preferring, to wear diapers.

Don't worry Yosh. Thank you for always checking my art and writing those amazing short stories. This one is really elaborated. I really love how you connect separated pieces of artwork without any relation in a single lore like if this was Star Wars or something :P It is really interesting to read. I was thinking to add a gift gem in the drawing, but the trouble with those things is that you take away space to watch properly the characters and their poofy garments :3
