You know that secret I mentioned Duo had? This is it.

Duo's parents had a friend take him far away when Robotnik first attacked. He was taken to a place in Japan (whatever it's now called on Mobius. I don't remember.) called Sky Town. A hidden city, high up above the clouds, on the tallest mountain in the land. Once there, he was taken to the Raven clan. A ninja clan made up of many different kinds of birds. They were the protectors of the city. The friend that brought him there was the master's brother. After delivering him there, the friend left to rejoin the fight against Robotnik.

For the next several years, he lived with the master. Once he was old enough, he was allowed to begin training as a Raven clan ninja. The first time someone who wasn't a bird had ever been permitted to do so. He eventually graduated in the top three of his class.

When he reached the age of 19, he decided to search for his real parents. His master let him leave, telling him what little he knew of where he had come from. It took him three years, but he eventually made it back to his birthplace. Unfortunately, he discovered his parents had died defending the city. After discovering the truth, he decided to stay, and continue to defend the city from evil.

He is not a member of the freedom fighters, though he has teamed up with them on a few occasions. He generally prefers working alone.

His costume is the uniform of the Raven Clan. It was modified to make up for his lack of being a bird. The both his gauntlets and boots have talons that pop out. His talon gauntlets come out from his wrist bands.

He further modified the suit himself with even more devices. Both of his wrist bands can fire small projectiles. They include shurikens, tracking devices, taser darts, explosive darts, and a grappling hook. His headpiece has built-in multi vision goggles. They have several different vision modes, including night vision. Lastly he built a jet pack of sorts, that he refers to as Thruster Wings. They can only stay on for a few moments at a time, so they don't allow him true flight. He can however use them to jump higher, make quick dashes, or slow his fall.

I noticed no one around here really made a Sonic-styled costumed superhero, so I figured that's what I'd do.

I also used this to try some new stuff out. Decided to go for the whole rough, sketchy look. I think it works well with Sonic characters.

I figured if an anthro character really wanted to hide their identity, the best bet would be to disguise them self as a completely different species. Sure, once you get a good close look at him, you could tell he's not a real bird, but most people aren't going to get a good look at him anyway.

I never really read the EU Sonic comic, so the character was made primarily for the US comic continuity. I did decide to make the bio rather vague on certain details, so I could put him into either one. Seeing as how there are fan characters for both on here, I figured I'd cover all my bases in one fell swoop. ;)

Lastly, would you believe a completely made up that whole bio as I was writing it?
