The background was inspired by my visit to the Maasai Mara in 2019.
We were very lucky - we got to see the famous 'Fast Five' cheetahs up close, passing right by our vehicle at one point. <3
The scenery was absolutely stunning, though. Like something out of a movie! :D <3

I've heard Kenya is "the gold standard" for safaris; I'd like to visit Kruger Park in South Africa "just because" of the connection to my comic strip; I'd also love to see the Palace of the Lost City hotel in real life after using it as the model for the castle in my strip.
