My part of an art trade I did with a good woman named 
annie-the-hedgetigress who wanted a story about her PCA character Rai asking out her other PCA character Luna and having her accept his offer. I hope you like it^^
Also I apologize if this story doesn't right it's because of the hot weather that's been happening around my area it was kinda hard to focus on the story^^;

It is a beautiful sunny and cloudy Thursday mid-afternoon around 2:30 P.M. with a slight cool breeze blowing in the air. This kind of weather was happening around the region known as the Kanto region but mostly this beautiful weather was happening around a city known as Viridian City. In this city there are many buildings in the area as well as the many roads, major highways, and much more. One particular building located in the city that is located in the northern west part of the city is an academy building known as the PokeCombat Academy or PCA for short.
The ones that attend this academy are creatures known as Pokemon however these creatures can stand on their own two feet and wear clothes and other accessories. Some of the classes for this academy have ended and some of the students are heading home on the buses while some students are staying because these students have their own dorm rooms with other students.
Inside the academy there is one section known as the PCA library where not only are there a lot of books but the place is huge. However outside of the library there is a boy in his sophomore year pacing back and forth in front of the library waiting for someone. This boy who is pacing back and forth in front of the entrance of the library is Rai Khao Shong Xio.
Rai, age 15, is a Luxio in his sophomore year of the PCA. He has a sky blue colored skin with a black mane around his face and yellow eyes with three scratches on the left side of his face. He’s wearing some kind of medallion around his neck while wearing a red tanktop that shows off his arms, hands (has bandages around his wrists), red and white colored shorts with his tail sticking out from behind and black like shoe stockings that expose three big toes along with three ear pieces on his ears. He continues to pace back and forth in front of the library with a nervous look on his face.
“Come on Rai you can do this man you can do this. You just need to ask her out simple as that…but what if she says no? Oh damn it I don’t know if she’s going to say no after all she’s my team leader!”
Rai ruffled his hair as he continued pacing back and forth in front of the library but then stopped. “I can’t do this I can’t do this! She maybe my team leader but I can’t ask her out…no you know what I’m gonna do it I’m going to ask her out I don’t care what she says I’m gonna do it!”
Just then he felt a tap on his shoulder and as he spun around he was now looking at his team captain of Team Animus, Luna .E. Clipse Eon. “Hey there Rai sorry I’m late class was a little bit longer than I thought it would be.” He blushed red on his cheeks. “It’s alright no h-harm coming in a little late.”
Luna, age 15, is a female Umbreon in her sophomore year as well and is the team leader of Team Animus. She has dark like skin with dark colored hair and bluish colored eyes with yellow rings on some parts of her body. She’s wearing a pink like collar around her neck, a purple and white top that shows off her hands (wears light blue fingerless gloves), arms, shoulders and chest area and indigo shorts with her tail sticking out from behind exposing her legs and bare paws.
“So Rai what was it you wanted to talk to before. It sounded really important. Does it involve a match we have?” She asked.
“No no it’s not a match it’s sort of something…else.”
He gulped as he started blushing red on his cheeks. What he wanted to ask her he was quite nervous about but he knew he was going to ask her no matter how nervous he was going to act. “Rai is everything alright? You’re cheeks are red.” His eyes widened as he lowered his head. “Listen Luna there’s something I wanna ask you.”
“Hm yes what is it?”
He gulped again with his head still looking at the ground. “Come on Rai you can do this man you can do this you can do this!” He opened his eyes as he lifted his eye now looking at Luna looking straight into her eyes. “Luna I was wondering if you would be interested in going on a date with tonight.” Luna seemed somewhat surprised and shocked at the same time because one of her teammates had actually asked her out on a date and she could tell by the look on his face he was nervous even though he just asked her. He then turned away from her but didn’t walk away.
“I can understand if you don’t wanna go on a date with me Luna after all you are the team leader and I’m sure you have-”
“I’d love to go out with you.”
Rai stopped in mid-sentence blushing red on his cheeks as he spun around looking at Luna. “W-What did you s-say?” She smiled. “I said I would love to go out with you Rai. Come by my place around 7:30 ok? You know where I live right?” He nodded his head. “Cool. See ya then.” She gave him another warm smile as she made her way out from the entrance of the library as Rai just stared on but then moments later he smiled with joy.
“She said yes…SHE SAID YES!”
“HEY QUIET OUT THERE!”
Rai covered his mouth because he had forgotten that he was close to the library and had to be quiet however he couldn’t be quiet after Luna had just said yes. With a smile he dashed the other direction with the same thing in his thoughts. “She said yes she said yes she said yes she said yes…wait…what am I going to where?!”
The hours went back so quick as the mid afternoon quickly became the evening with the time being around 7:18 P.M. with the sign still out. Rai had made his way to Luna’s house which is located in Viridian City but in a section known as Ferndale on Oak Street. Both of them actually live together in that section but just live a couple of blocks away from each other.
Right now Rai was standing in front of Luna’s house which was a big two story house with two squared windows over on the left side, two squared windows on the top left corner as well as the same on the right side however there was no window on the bottom right corner of the house. He stood in front of the white colored wearing the same clothes he wore in the afternoon as he took a deep breath.
“Well this is it,” he said in his head. “I’m going to go through this.”
He took another deep breath as he knocked on the front door with his right hand and waited a few seconds for someone to answer. Just then the door opened a few more seconds later as he was now staring at woman who looked a lot older than him and apparently is Luna’s mother. Her name is Eva and she is an Eevee. “Oh you must be the boy Luna told me about. My name is Eva. You must be Rai right?”
“Yes ma’am,” he said. “Is um L-Luna home?”
“Yes she is,” she said with a smile and turning inside the house. “Luna dear your date is here.” She then turned back to him. “She’ll be here soon why don’t you come inside.” He nodded. “Thank you.” He was just about to enter inside the home when Luna came down the stairs of her house and yanked Rai’s left arm pulling him outside before he could come inside. She was still wearing the same clothes as before in the afternoon but she was nicely dressed in her clothing.
“Wow Rai you got here early,” she said with a smile. “But I’m glad you made it.”
He blushed rubbing his right hand behind the back of his head. “Alright then Rai let’s go.” He nodded slightly. “Y-Yeah.”
“Hold it young lady.”
The two of them spun around staring right back at the door where stood a male Vaporeon who looks a lot older than Luna and Rai but almost the same as Eva and his name is Atlantis. “And where are you and your “date” planning on going?”
“Dad we’re just going to the mall to the cinema and hang out not else,” she said to her father then looking at Rai. “Isn’t that what were going to do Rai?” He stared but then nodded seconds later. “That’s the idea.” He stared at her daughter and then at Rai who was sweating just a bit but then showed a smile on his face. “Well then you kids have fun and remember stay out of trouble.”
“Oh dad we will. C’mon Rai let’s go!”
She yanked his left arm again pulling him on the sidewalk as she waved her mother and father goodbye. As they were waving, Rai noticed her father giving him a stare that made him gulp in terror. “I think I’d better not screw this up,” He thought to himself as he continued being yanked on his arm by Luna but being yanked by his team leader wasn’t bad at all. After all he does have a crush on her.
The next two hours of their date seemed to pass by really fast but to Rai their date seemed to be taking a very slow pace. The first place they went to was the mall which wasn’t that faraway however they just had to avoid some cars but they were all good. They headed straight for the cinema in the mall where they watched a romantic/comedy/adventure movie. The two had sat together with a big bag of popcorn and two drinks of their choosing.
Somewhere close to the ending but towards the middle of the movie, Rai tried moving his right arm around Luna’s arm but was too nervous on how she would react however he felt her hand pulling on his arm as she placed it over her shoulder as she winked and smiled at him making him blush.
When the movie ended the two made their way to the Mall Park which was behind the Mall. Inside the park the two were walking side by side together however Rai wanted to hold Luna’s right hand but was nervous once again. “Oh come on Rai get it together just take her hand for the love of Arceus’s sake!” He then grabbed a hold of her hand as they were walking. She moved her eyes down and saw him holding her hand which made her cheeks blush lightly.
“I’m actually holding her hand I’m really holding her hand,” he said to himself.
They continued walking in the park for quite some time around 9:40 P.M. at night with the park lights on. Moments later Luna had her arm around Rai’s left arm with a smile on her face. “L-Luna I guess I s-should take you home now huh?” She moved her eyes over at him. “Hmmmm I guess so. My dad can get pretty mad if he finds out anything happened to his little girl,” she said giggling. “Wouldn’t be a pretty sight.”
“Hehe yeah and I barely know you’re dad. Besides it’s getting late anyway.”
It only took them about ten minutes to reach back to Luna’s house and once arriving back to the house the two were standing in front of each other. “Well I guess you have to go back in huh,” said Rai. “Well I should be going now Luna. I’ll see you tomorrow then.” He smiled at her as he was making his way away from her house when suddenly…
“Hey Rai you forgot something.”
He turned around to ask Luna what he had forgotten but when he did his lips meet with Luna’s lips as the two kissed. He’s cheeks went red as she wrapped her arms around him kissing him for a good minute or so. She then broke the kiss as she smiled while Rai still had his cheeks blushing red after the kiss.
“I had a wonderful time with you tonight Rai thanks so much.”
She planted another kiss on his cheek as she made her way inside her house as she opened her front door. “See you tomorrow Rai,” she said smiling at him as she closed the door leaving him outside.
Rai just stood like a statue for a few seconds and then he placed his hand on his cheek where Luna had kissed him and then he placed his fingers where she had kissed him on the lips as the blush on his two cheeks turned as much as red as possible as he left her house with a wide smile on his face.
“Best night…of my life,” he said to himself.
