There has to be some trifle of emotional depth gleaned from this. Some lonely speck of personal responsibility embraced from this ordeal that is our existence.

One can not only imagine the terrible burdens, the encompassing weight of that insanity we are told to believe in of this world...we see it. We all see it. And our eyes are betraying us.

There is this aggression, this violence in the air and it is against ourselves. This cynic's banquet of doubt and despair and it culminates here and now in this one moment among many more of its kin.

We need to see more. If not just in others then in ourselves. We must cast our gaze inwardly and look upon our shadows. Observe this light we seemingly obscure from ourselves.

You are more than what they have been telling you. Exceedingly more than what you have been telling yourself. Close your eyes for a moment would you...?
