thank you ❤️ I had hard time with trimming as well, since I only had my dog's old shaving machine and could not buy a new one because of lockdown (which is taking months in my country and will continue indefinitely). I did a lot of manual trimming with scissors, since the machine left some chunks and did not shave evenly
I'm a casual fursuit crafter and the trimmer I use is actually specifically for pets. Instead of looking for a new trimmer you should look for new heads -- they make all the difference!
And as everyone else has said, this is a lovely head! Especially so for a first time :) I hope you get plenty of enjoyment out of wearing it, I know fursuiting can inspire a lot of happiness
