This is part of a series of notes written by Professor Rosewood, It's mostly me trying to actually post my writings/world buildy shit publicly. Lemme know what you think! comments more than welcome!
-Obv. this isn't official canon, so take with salt but it's little details like this that I like to think about.

"As they form naturally as part of the being's evolution from Zorua, beads are very important/special to the individual. Losing it can cause a negative mood shift in a Zoroark. Thankfully, beads are super tough, and could even be swung like Iron Tail...but are still able to be cracked, shattered or broken. Said beads are made of a variety of materials and visual patterns. This ranges from clear glassy/crystal materials, to essentially various colors of something similar to solid jade/marble! Also; beads -can- naturally come in different colors/shades on the cool color spectrum, IE blues, greens and purples. (Alternatively; for a shiny Zoroark, they come in warm colors such as yellow, orange and red.)"
"Due to such beautiful variance, Zoroark beads are notably fashionable. However; poaching real ones is almost globally illegal. They are placed in the same list as Mamoswine tusk, and Cinccino fur. It is for this reason, and the case of Zoroark whose bead has been lost, that a company was founded that makes fake beads that people can buy. either for fashion or just because a new one is needed."
"These false ones range in material, most are fairly light weight plastics (Which are usually cheap, and will likely break/get melted by fire type attacks). Better ones are usually made of glass/high quality plastics. Custom ones can also easily be made, even in non-standard shapes, like a Dodecahedron, a Spikeball, or Bangles/Rings. There's also the option of beads created from battle-items such as a Life Orb being made for competitive Zoroark."
-foot notes-
“I'm just imagining some Zoroark partner (instance of one more domesticated) getting a new bead after theirs broke in some accident, and they just have the biggest smile with their pupils going wide and sparkly when they see it.~ I've also seen a few Zoroark browsing some higher end ones meant for fashion.”
