CT-5491, or "Tayle", as he calls himself, is a clone captain in the Grand Army of the Republic and secondary leader of the 104th Composite Unit, second in command to Chanticleer Bluth. Originally a lieutenant in the 501st under Anakin Skywalker and Ahsoka Tano, Tayle took part in the Battle of Cartoonia and observed Chanticleer in action during the attack on the Disney Castle in Anaheim, Cartoonifornia. Tayle came to admire the young Cartoon rooster, not just because he was able to keep his cool and learn how to command on the fly, but also because he got to hear his incredible singing immediately following the battle.
When Tayle learned that Anakin was placing him in charge of a mixed clone and Cartoon unit under Chanticleer's command, he was overjoyed, and got right to work customizing his new ARC trooper armor. He painted the armor to match Chanticleer's head, body plumage, tail feathers, and usual outfit, and even asked Anakin to equip him with the same custom-built Thompson submachine blaster that he had built for Chanticleer. Tayle even styled his once-long hair into a pompadour with sideburns, matching Chanticleer's hairdo as much as possible. When he presented his look to Chanticleer, Chanticleer was flattered to say the least. Upon seeing Tayle's armor, Chanticleer created a diversion tactic for the pair. During assaults on Disney positions, Tayle would charge ahead with the main force, fooling the Disney forces into thinking that Chanticleer was leading the Republic attack in a frontal assault. Meanwhile, Chanticleer would either lob off a solar laser barrage on the Disney position with his Super Crow to soften it up, or lead a flanking attack to confuse the defenders.
During downtime, Tayle joins in sing-alongs with Chanticleer, along with other clones and Cartoons of the 104th. Sometimes, when he's had a good night's rest, Tayle joins in the choral parts of Chanticleer's reveille tune "Sun Do Shine".
Clone troopers belong to Disney and Lucasfilm.
