Another old inked convention picture I found while organizing my art. Thought people would find it amusing. Have no clue what year this was, since I don't date my inked pictures, but it was probably done for one of the mid-numbered Confurences. It was supposed to show a Miss Universe-style beauty contest between critters of questionable beauty (although i'm sure they have their admirers!)

From left to right:
Miss Central America: Lattice-winged or wrinkle-faced bat
Miss Africa: Naked Mole-rat
Miss Carribean: Hatian Solendon
Miss Middle East: Palestinian mole-rat
Miss North America: Star-nosed Mole
Miss Madagascar: Aye-Aye

Yeah, I know Europe, South America, Asia and Australia got short-changed. I don't think I had enough room on the paper for them. Maybe I'll do a sequel one of these days. I have no idea who ended up buying the colored version, nor do I have a copy of it (this was done before I routinely copied or scanned my art.)
