When I was a tad more younger, the first manga I ever bought and owned was DragonBall. The comic was old, but the manga itself was a new thing here when the manga madness came to here in Finland.
For what I know, there are total of three (discluding the Shenlong, like it's written in the manga) dragonic characters seen: Giran, Cymbal and Maraikoh. The first one I ever saw, was Giran himself. Then came up Cymbal. I've heard of Maraikoh once and then I had to quickly browse him up from the web and indeed: In the anime itself, he was yet another large yet well gutted stud.
Now when I started to search fanart based on these three fellows, the collection on Cymbal was almost non-existant, a tiny amoount of Maraikoh art found and Giran....well, he was mostly used in for Fat-Foot-Tickling-Inflation based stuff.
THAT ignited my rage meter....!!
Well not actually, I'm just bullshitting here for cool story...
Anyways, the thought that I'd make these fellows filled with muscles like I tend to do to many things, inspired me to make these things out. Bit original on Giran, I kept his gut in there, but thought of making him muscle-gutted instead. Just because he is quite round, indeed. The only thing I hate in this picture, is the badly drawn forearms in different positions and elbows - Hence I like Maraikoh's arms the least in this picture 8C

I've seen quite a few pictures of Cymbal and Giran that's pretty sweet and (thankfully, imo) not the whole inflation/feet thing. Some clean, some pretty adult. Made by some Japanese artist though. Don't know who the name is...
It does kind of suck Cymbal was killed easily (but then again, he is a bad guy), but I think what made it worse was Yajirobe who did it, not Goku, and not even Krillin. I mean, I like him, but him making a kill...it's shocking. What makes it worse that him and Goku ate him after he was killed...XD
These are pretty sweet pictures of them. Not everyday I see them packed with muscles like these. I'm highly shocked you didn't draw or even mention Porunga though. I'm still waiting for more good pictures of them. There's pictures of him and Broly...doing stuff, but that kind of kink was never a turn-on for me...^^;

Yeah, the fact that Cymbal was killed within instant after it's birth and the fact that Yajirobe then fried him to eat him (Goku never ate him, for Goku ate Yajirobe's fish that he caught earlier. I has the book to prove mah word.) which made it somewhat of a "disappointement". But so was the sight of Giran being taken out by Tambourine as well in the same book. "Two faves down", so to say.
Overall: the story is somewhat repetitive and slightly cheesy. The only thing I like about in it, is the "Leave-your-brains-on-the-hanger" feel it gives to me: I can read it and it's fight scenes over and over again while eating, resting or visiting in the toilet.

Porunga is the Namekian Eternal Dragon. Unlike Shenron, he's REALLY buffed up, and personality wise, he's a lot nicer than Shenron.

Ah, that. In the book where he comes up, it's just told to be "Namekian Shenlong" (I manage to have a small amount of these books: 3, 6 - 14 and 21), but either I missed the name completely or it was never mentioned. Eitherways: he is like "Shenlong" and hence, I didn't included him into the list I told.
That's true. Technically, I think they would be brothers, so yeah, makes sense.
It's still funny though that out of all the official media I've seen, he's practically the beefiest dragon (or any non-human-like character) I've seen and is rarely drawn and hardly ever mentioned. I guess its his design that kind of throw people off. That face looks a bit difficult to me (and I can't find a proper picture yet. I'll probably screenshot some parts of the anime).

As far as I can remember, he was summoned on Planet Namek twice, but then summoned numerous times on Eartth, but only in like...one or two episodes (basically the show was skipping days and what-not). I think he appeared one more time on New Namek, but that's about it.

I searched and searched for anthro art(especially nsfw) for some dragons from yugioh such as the 4 Dimensional Dragons but no avail..
I wished people would make them
I should say in Dragon Ball Super there is now another dragon in its latest arc as a dragon-like guy named Chappil, but sadly right off the bat he gets killed off
If you haven't watched it, then long story short, he along with his team is the first to lose in some tournament and gets erased right off the bat..
