Was really in the mood to draw some Paw Patrol fanart again, and I thought it was time to draw my favorite pup, Rocky, again.
Had this idea in mind for a while, and it felt good to finally get it down. Tried putting color on it, but it didn't look right :/

Have you seen the French trailer for the movie, yet? It answered a question that had been roaming around in my head for ages, which is: "What color are the dogs' paw pads? Did they keep them pink or they make them my favorite color of paw pads - black?" Much to my amazement, they changed the color to black! Too bad they probably won't be using the same 3D models used in the film in the PAW Patrol TV series, though. Rendering all of that fur takes a very long time and costs a bundle to have it done at so-called "rendering farms."
Now, if only they would make the dogs of the PAW Patrol appear as Rocky does in this drawing you did... ❤️❤️❤️

Some of the trailers have come and gone from YouTube, only for some of them to be re-posted by other people. I just searched for the French version and it's gone. Someone posted the trailer that's in the theaters now and it's about a minute and a half long. The quality isn't great though because it was shot from a phone in a less than ideal location in a theater, but there is a funny moment in it where Ryder and the pups round a street corner and suddenly get stuck in city traffic. I don't want to spoil the humor in it in case you want to see it.
If you have a Twitter account, you can ask the director Cal Brunker about the paw pad color change, although I might do it because I might create an account there just so I can ask him why they didn't add whiskers to the dogs during their redesigns. I think that they would have made them look even cuter.

I can be a perfectionist a lot of the time. It probably just looked "off" to me or not how I thought I wanted it to look at the time. Wouldn't want that to stop you from coloring it if you wanted to, though.

Considering trying to redraw this as it relatively old and "outdated" to what I do now. Just wish I had enough free time to do so -_-
