She does come from a tribe of Shamans.
I believe she is forgetting that warning from the village elder on knowing her strength and Weakness. With luck, she will live long enough to learn where her limits are.
For she is young and not well traveled in the realm of spirit walking. For the Guardian is quite correct on the dangers of getting lost and not being able to find your way back to your body in the mundane world.
