The moment that Wylie was waiting for so many years popped up and he got it! Melody was known to just toy with Wylie but she seemed fairly willing to give the rodent a smooch here. Was it because she likes him secretly or just did it because she was in a Christmas mood? Who knows. But Wylie was just glad he had a pretty normal Christmas considering his size.
