It was day's end, and underneath the beautiful orange sky was... a mess.
By now the others has already gone home. Bayusha and Constantine, meanwhile, stuck around to gaze at the sunset while they took a breather (or at least, Bayusha took the breather, since Constantine still rode on her snout). There may have been crushed concrete under where she sat, but that didn't stop her from enjoying the pretty sky.
Constantine, meanwhile tried to make the most of the view. He had to admit, it was certainly a gorgeous sunset. Still, he couldn't ignore the collateral damage below. He sighed. He felt he shouldn't be so used to this, but he was, whether he liked it or not. "Welp... you've done it again, Bay..." he said, rolling his eyes.
The Brachio crossed her eyes to look at him. "Why, whatever do you mean, darling?" she said innocently.
"What do you THINK I mean?" Constantine retorted with a suspicious look. "Honestly, what made you think it was a good idea to invite the others here?"
"Well... we always do this, just you and me, so I thought, why not share fun with friends, no?" Bayusha replied with a little giggle.
"Yeah, well you shared fun all right," the Compy snorted. "Not just with them, but the whole district."
Bayusha now snorted, of course rattling the little Compy's seat in the process. "Oh come now, darling. Is not THAT bad..."
Constantine hung his head and exhaled. He then held up his fingers, and counted down. "Three... two... one..."
CRAAAASH!!
Right on cue, the buildings within view toppled and tilted, leaning against other, and creating an arch over the street. Other adjacent buildings tilted in the chain reaction. After observing this, Constantine turned back and glared flatly into the Brachio's huge blue eyes.
Bayusha looked at him sheepishly. She could only play innocent for so long, as by now, the Compy knew her too well. "... Uh..." she started to say.
"Yes?" Constantine said, continuing to give her the eye, as if waiting to see how she could possibly explain this one.
Bayusha simply blinked, glancing away for a moment, then back at the waiting Compy. "... We... uh... go home now, little biter?"
"That's literally the best idea you've had all day," Constantine said, rolling his eyes. "Hi ho, and away."
As Bayusha started to move, Constantine stayed on the subject. "With all due respect," he began. "I think your city-crossing course could use a few tweaks."
"Like what?" Bayusha inquired.
"Oh, I don't know, maybe some basic rules, like say, not entering a district below your scale? Hmm?"
"Oh Constantine..." Bayusha said with a sweet stare. "You know that is only unwritten law~"
The Compy narrowed his eyes and grumbled. "Maybe where YOU come from..." he muttered.
Part six, and the final part!
This is how it goes for Constantine, when you're friends with a whole bunch of giants.
This is his typical view as well, from Bayusha's big 'ol snoot.
Anyway, I hope you all enjoyed this little series. Happy Macro March!
