Tonight the webshow came back with a vengeance. What I thought would have been a multiple-day project turned out to be a single two-hour session. I managed to get the pencils completely finished for the first page of the Chronicles of Ademar. Tomorrow night's session -- originally scheduled to be a continuation of this first page's pencils -- will instead be spent either producing the pencils for page two, or inking this one. I will leave it up to the viewers who show up tomorrow night to decide which one gets done.
For now, here's the WIP of the Chronicles of Ademar, page one.
These pages will all be drawn with an active area of 10" x 15" on watercolor paper. More details will be added during the inking phase; there is a lightning bolt in the background, although it's hard to tell without the shadows/highlights that will be put in with ink wash later on.
Keep in mind not every page will be posted online. I am only going to be showing the first few pages of the opening scene as a preview of the finished product. I intend on publishing this comic in trade paperback, so stay tuned for details on that once the first issue gets closer to being finished.
Drawn live during Jonathan's Inking Room on UStream.

Thanks! I'll only be posting the pages of the opening scene online. I'll be publishing this book in an issue-based format (23-30 pages per issue) in trade paperback, so it'll be pretty cheap. The main site is http://www.lilythepanda.com which is a blog format and really only updated when I have new art/news to share.
