That is a very square hat. Doodled while watching The Thing on

that is correct! i seem to had forgotten.
but yeah, i actually got to work on one of the new creature designs.
albeit somewhat briefly, but i still had a lot of fun with it.
what makes me think it's not going to be so good is that, at least in regard to the visual effects, there were just way too many chefs in the kitchen, & hardly any of them knew how to cook.
guys with too much money thinking they're capable of all the creative decision-making.
they end up sifting through & nitpicking so much, dragging things out until there's nothing even remotely interesting left.
too many films have suffered that fate, especially in recent years.
but i've got faith too. let's hope it somehow manages to turn out alright ^^

Only R.J. MacReady can wear a sombrero during the winter and make it look cool. It was that one who saved him from the horrible Thing.
