This time: the Gear Technizens

Sooo base D&D has Mechanus, the place where absolute, and perfect, law exists. And all its denizens are mechanical in nature... That is a concept that fascinates me... i like to make fun of "perfection"...

So obviously when making a new setting i straight up ported Mechanus and made a mockery of it by having such mechanically perfect things... never understand the imperfections of the normal world and all their "perfect" studies be absolutely bonkers because they try to apply logic to our world without understanding the rules of it first and assuming it must work like their world.

In practice this means there have been several attempts to scout the prime material. And they have all ended in disaster. With at least one main exploration ship being destroyed along with one gear of Mechanus, which is now perect... but missing a gear. I'm sure perfection takes in consideration the idea of suddenly finding itself imperfect and missing a piece, right?

Sooo while the perfect demiplane of mechanus goes perfectly in complete and utter ruination... in the "real" world there are a large number of "technizens" going around and trying to fit in.

Now completely ... bonkers and "infected" with the imperfection of our world they enjoy such things as "having a life" and "enjoying".

Also they built their own factories to make more of themselves because they thought it would be better to share.
