Oh wow! :D I am so envious! And kudos to you guys for helping wildlife!

So, what is your basic job at the center? -derp-

Everything that needs to be done I do.

That's pretty much everyone's job. We catch, clean, medicate, do splints, vet trips, euthanasia, feed, feed the food, kill the food, clean some more, get run into by terrified birds in small spaces, talk to visitors, take birds dropped off, pick up birds. I don't get to do teaching stuff with the teaching birds yet but my boss plans on teaching me how to do everything.

He was released this morning. He was found close to the rehab center so we were able to release him right from there.

He doesn't look too happy.

He's not we've had him locked up for a few months. IT's ok, in the other picture I uploaded he's a lot happier.

Oh good. Now you don't have to worry about him biting your head off after months of pent up anger!

I envy your expertise that allows you to work so closely with wild birds <3

However this Turkey Vulture hasn't puked the entire time we had him.
The resident one does anytime we grab him.

Caught him out of the cage and held him. That's his I'm gunna projectile vomit face. We released him right after that picture.

Aaaaah that's what it was! They hate it when you touch them...glad he was released!
