Meet Aspirant Concoctor Ketel Vivveroon Hec, distinguished dishonorably discharged Tengu. His feathers are all tropical maroons and yellows, eyes like emeralds, and tail-feathers so ostentatious it'd make an Empress look like plebeian peasantry. Though not the tallest, his hue and saturation sliders are MAXED OUT, ensuring that even without the lights and noises of explosions he'll be seen by all.

He got his ass kicked out of Academia by his peers, professors, and even the janitor, even though they had close to ZERO evidence he had anything to do with the abrupt and loud disappearance of the Academy's chemical storage. But as life closes a door, Hec explodes a window, and in this case a portal to a rich new land without the annoyance of petty laws or a Geneva convention was exactly the opportunity he was looking for.
